KYANKWANZI PREMIER RANCHERS

KPR is a vertically integrated crop and cattle system located in Kyankwanzi District in the west-central region of Uganda. The cattle ranch is a genetics improvement operation that supports area farmers with high-quality semen from bulls with desirable local traits for superior meat production and resistance to local diseases.

The crop farm produces high-quality feed for the ranching operation with surpluses going to the local food and feed markets. 

AVI's engagement includes management of improving the cattle herd and converting a portion of the ranch to crop cultivation requiring clearing and land forming.
